Nobody does cryptic debuts like Nothing does, and we have an official Nothing Phone 3 teaser here that has left fans enthralled once more following months of build around its forthcoming smartphone release. The little but incredibly well-known company unveiled a seven-second movie proving the Nothing Phone 3 was scheduled for a March 4 introduction.
Though the actual release date for the Nothing Phone 3 is still months away, now that Nothing has started making announcements, we should anticipate more abstract teases in the next few weeks that will have fans wondering about what fresh features and glyph configurations the next phone will have.

Another unexplainable tweet on X/Twitter on January 21, 2025, with a photo of the Pokemon Arcanine and no other specifics, preceded the new Nothing Phone 3 teaser. This could allude to an upcoming cooperation or the phone’s code name. Confirming that we were actually getting ready for a new smartphone release, the corporation subsequently posted the next day, “first tweet from new device.”
The Nothing Phone 3 release news crumbs stayed under wraps later as well, with the business publishing some abstract black-and- white drawings that hinted to the several components of the next smartphone while providing very little information on the gadget. At last, a head-up on the approaching announcement showed on the Nothing countdown widget.

Though Nothing might just surprise us with an unusual glyph arrangement or side button setup as well, fans have speculated about what this could be and the most likely answer is the camera setup on the smartphone.
Prominent leaker with deep knowledge into the tech industry Max Jambor posted an image on his Twitter/X account that seemed to be an invitation to the Power in Perspective event on March 4. Barcelona, Spain is supposed to host the event. Now the Mobile World Congress (MWC) gathering is also booked at the same time in Barcelona, so the smartphone maker could be intending to release its phone then.
Nothing Phone 3 Rumors: What Knowledge We Currently Possess?
The Nothing Phone 3 teaser leaves some concerned that we might get a Nothing Phone 3a instead since it does not specifically mention the name or specs of the phone. Given the company’s apparent inclination toward its alternative series over the flagship category it first launched the brand with, this is a quite plausible situation.
Based on Nothing Phone 3 rumors, for now we know that the device might include Android 15 compatibility to run Nothing OS 3.0 and a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Though the Snapdragon path is more likely, several speculations also suggest the likelihood of a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ CPU. Along with an 8GB RAM model supported, a 6.5-inch display is planned.

Will Nothing Phone 3 Introduce 3rd Camera Lens?
From the Nothing Phone, the Nothing Phone 2, to even the Nothing CMF phone, a two-lens system has been the norm. The teaser might be hinting to a new triple camera configuration and early rumors imply two phones, the normal model and a Plus variation. The Plus model is equipped with a periscopic telephoto lens; the standard model is supposed to include a telephoto camera. Third lens might be an ultrawide camera like all other flagship phones from Samsung or Google.
The teaser suggests that the features shown in the clip are positioned on the side of the phone rather than the rear, which does not make too much sense for a camera arrangement at current. Although enthusiasts have speculated that the Nothing Phone 3 teaser displayed the camera lens, it might simply be a new shutter button on the side of the phone or the power and volume button.
Like every other smartphone from the past year, AI functions will show up on the gadget; but, what it would entail for the customers is yet unknown.
Though this could happen in the second half of 2025, a Nothing CMF phone launch is also expected this year. Knowing the official launch date for the Nothing Phone 3—or Phone 3a—confirmed helps us to more precisely estimate when we will hear more from the brand. Will this gadget get a US launch?
